No Problem...You're Right on Track

Jerry DRhino Clark

I got a call the other day from a friend of mine, who after knowing me for over five years, just decided to join a Network Marketing company. She got started with a gentleman who is making over $300,000 per month as a distributor for a major nutrition company.

In her first week she made her list and started contacting people to see if they were suspects or prospects. She called me to tell me how things were going. I could immediately tell from her voice that she was discouraged.

"Jerry," she began, "I've been with the company for three weeks now and I've been talking to people every day about the products and opportunity. But I'm having a problem."

I asked her what was the problem.

She went on to say, "Well, I've had people who said they would be on the information conference call and they don't get on it. Some people have said they were going to get started and they didn't. Some people won't even return my phone calls. In fact, I've had three people get started with me and one of them has already quit. Jerry, can you tell me what I'm doing wrong. I mean, can you tell me what the problem is?"

"Sure," I said. "But are you sure you want to know what the problem is?"

She said, "Oh yes, I sure do."

"If I tell you, will you trust and believe me even if you don't fully understand it?"

"I sure will," she said.

So I began, "Well, to answer your question, you don't have a problem. You're actually right on track to creating a multi-million dollar network marketing business. Congratulations."

She was silent.

I continued.

"You have to understand one thing. I knew your sponsor when he was just getting started with the company you're with. He was broke, but he knew what it was going to take to create the empire of well over 100,000 distributors that he has today. He simply talked to massive amounts of people and had all of the same things happen to him that have been happening to you. He was able to understand that it was part of the process.

The more he was able to keep plugged into the process while all of the so-called "failure, disappointment, and rejection" was happening, the bigger his organization grew and the richer he got. If you don't have people doing the things you shared with me, then you have a problem. However, if you keep doing what you're doing, you will become wealthier than you can imagine. So don't worry because you don't have a problem. You're right on track."

She was speechless for about two minutes and then she said, "I have to go and make some more calls. I'll call you back when I have my next three."

The message is clear. When you encounter what appears to be failure, disappointment, and rejection while building your business, there is no problem. You're right on track.
